It is used in accumulation of gas in the gastrointestinal tract, sensation of pressure & fullness in epigastrium , temporary meteorism following dietary indirections or lack of physical exercise, postoperative meteorism , in preparation for X-ray examination (stomach, gall bladder, kidney) and before gastroscopy.
