It is called a "probiotic," that helps to fight off disease-causing organisms in the gut such as bacteria and yeast.
It is indicated for treatment of acute infectious diarrhoea of adults & children,prevention & treatment of antibiotc-associated colitis & diarrhoea,prevention of tube-feeding associated diarrhoea,treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

The recommended dose is 1-2 sachets taken once or twice daily.
