Treatment of status asthmaticus, laryngitis stridulosa. severe allergic conditions: giant urticarias, eczema, serum sickness. Arthritis, polyarthritis. Adrenal insufficiency. - It is used in combination with other therapy in treatment of cerebral edema, adjunctive therapy in bacterial meningitis.
Adults : 1-6 tablets daily, Children : 1/2-4 tablets daily or as directed by the physician. Oral route: Taken after meals. . Do not stop administration abruptly but reduce the dosage gradually.
