Supirocin 2 % Ointment is a topical antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, characterized by red sores around the mouth and nose & folliculitis, etc., caused due to susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.
