Plantago major: Leaves contain glucosides which were found to produce a fall in arterial blood pressure. Moringa oleifera: The direct depressant action of alkaloid, niazinin, niazimicin and niaziminin compounds exhibit hypotensive and bradycardiac effects in vivo. Arundo donax: Roots of Arundo donax have diuretic action and thus lower the blood pressure. Terminalia arjuna: Arjuna is beneficial for angina and poor coronary circulation. Allium sativum : It is estimated that if the blood pressure lowering effects of garlic can be maintained, the risk of stroke may be reduced by 30-40% and the risk of heart attack by 20-50%. It has been shown to decrease systolic pressure by 20-30 mmHg and diastolic pressure by 10-20 mmHg in people with high blood pressure. Indication: Treatment of Hypertension
